Grin...
<--tragically imperfect, I admit....
I hit the wrong key yet again.
but I do think Owen Oyen's boat (the ACC 2.x) and Owen's many contributions to SL Sailing were- and are- pretty amazing.
Sigh, I need an Editor, Quirks...
Thx!

PS: Prior post fixed!! We sail ACA33v2.53 on Saturday!!

Round Two 6:00am Results

Postby Jane Fossett » Sat Jun 12, 2010 8:19 am

The 6:00 am Match group turned out to be among the most exciting races I've seen in a long time.
The pace was blisteringly fast, and the lead changed repeatedly in several match-ups.
It came down to a three-way tie, with ziz Kidd, Amythest Wingtips, and Us Vemo each winning two races.

The Race Committee for Round Two (Elbag Gable, Silber Sands, Jane Fossett, LDeWell Hawker)
decided to move all three skippers into the Sunday 6AM Final Round,
where they will be joined by the winner of today's 10:30am race between Takabou Destiny and Colin Nesmith.

Today there were six truly wonderful matches, pairing up four outstanding sailors.
Mango could only select two skippers to send to the SL-VT Regatta in August, however.

Ziz Kidd grabbed the #2 slot with two clear wins, and they will both sail for Mango in August!!

As the notice has been sent in a public group, perhaps more information could also be provided in a public thread.
What happened and the reasons of this decision are not really my business, but my concern is: it may happen sash enters ACA graded race at GGYC (GGYCSL?, GGWYC? GGWSYC?) , what will be your decision? ("I we at GGYCSL AND SL VUITTON GROUP have no room...").
