heres is my chat in question:

i just left the vuitton all in white gala and was still iming with one person there and said that in im, since its in german and i dont think you can speak german i translate as closely as possible. anyone that can speak german is welcome to check my translation and point out possible mistakes:

sash Hudson: i dont like the dancing thing and the music isnt for me either, its all so old music, most of the songs i dont know at all or only from retro shows.
sash Hudson: i turn on some football songs, full volume :D
sash Hudson: ok i go to bed, take care, have a nice night at the dance above 30 or how its called here: fucking the leftovers ;) see you tomorrow at the shelly race

i dont know if you have the term dance above 30 in english, its a party where only people over 30 are around. the part with the leftovers fucking is a joke from a famous german comedian, i just stole his joke. its a persiflage on the people over 30 that go out to those partys just in the desperate hope to score.
its a term of common language in germany, there are songs about and even partys that are announced as leftover fuckings to make a joke on the joke. so with the whole tone of what i said you can judge yourself if this was abusive language towards a woman. even if the joke might be over the top for sensible persons i think you can feel that i didnt mean to be abusive/hurtful/insulting but just trying to be funny what obviously went quite wrong. and on a sidenote if you want to ban everyone that ever insulted someone else you would have to ban all humanity from your trophy.

Sash?
This comes down to one thing.
Round Five has slots open, FIYC has another qualifying event scheduled, and we may indeed add yet another round on top if people insist.
Three years ago Commodore Cory Copeland fron SL's Nantucket Yacht Club inaugurated a Mantra I still believe in:
"Shut up and sail."
:-) Sash, please come sail; be 'Bigger than Life.'

We all live together on an unexpectedly tiny world that is 70% covered with water.
For more than a million years now, if you had a prehensile thumb and the idiotic penchant to
go over a far horizon and help build the human race,
or if you just had some silly inherent drive to communicate with far-flung people you held dear...
You needed to sail.

I can make a very strong but incredibly boring argument that 'Sailing is built into our genes,'
those genes we all share.
Sash? Come sail with us, please.
We want you, we need you.
You are one of us, so is Don.
This is your Second World.
We are all in this silly space together.

With two minutes to go before the damn Start Gun sounded, Cory said it best.
Sash, Don?
Shut up and sail!!!!

Since I am part of this whole desaster that happened, I'll add my short comment now and hopefully bring this whole discussion to an end:

1) not nice of me to brought the IM to public! nothing to add to this.
2) I was shocked, that I and the others who were there were named a "restfuck" cause of age
3) I dunno about this "comedian", "party-song" or whatever which was mentioned (happy about that I don't;)... (and what is meant with "here", sash? if You post it, post all and don't delete sth)
4) I am on my way running to the 40s now and yes! It hurted me! I am just human too..;)

5) I'll avoid from now on U(nder)30 parties ;) and...

6) SAIL ON!! pff;-)

ps.: don't blame on Don, blame on me, I brought it up

i replaced the name of my hometown with here cause i dont want to make the place i live a matter of public knowledge. i only tell things about my rl to people i think i can truly trust. the comedian used his hometown cologne in the sentence, i replaced it with the name of my hometown in the im. doesnt really change the whole thing i guess.

and this is not only a bullshit, but also a racist attack and insulting. Feeling nostalgic Slanty? You certainly voted for Geert Wilders, but I think this forum is not the place for such posts. How may the community/moderator accept that?

@ Sash: And again the uptight fuckers in this forum are to fucking stupid to get the difference between what you say yourself and when you quote somebody else. They don't wanna see the difference. Doesn't make a difference for them, even if you mark your quote as clearly as you did. "As they say" (wie es hier heißt) should be a dead giveaway in every language. It's maybe some political reasoning behind their strange behaviour. Or they are just too lazy to read complete sentences and only listen to a set of codewords that trigger some BS PC alert. Sash, I don't know you, but maybe it's better to pack your things and RUN. Get the fuck out of here before it's too late and you're turned into the forum bad guy just for making use of a little bit harsher and funnier writing style than our intellectually handicapped co-forumists. Happened to me a few times in the past, so believe me, I know what I'm talking about.

I bet the only thing most forumists got from my post right now was the usage of the word FUCK in various correlations.

@ Slanty: You know I love you, girl, am always a connoiseur of your witty one-liners. But in this case you're wrong. Didn't you know we fuckn Geries are the funniest nation on the whole funnied up planet? Hereabouts everybody's a stand-up these days. You should listen to the newest routine of my gas attendent. And the supermarket cashier is so hilarious, you wouldn't believe. The troupe in the computah shop are a rage, they pingpong the jokes back and forth, real comedians! (Off course that's all just a part of Germany's newest cunning plan to gain world domination: We kill everybody with bad jokes. Or at least we torture you with our style until you surrender).

@ Rita: And who the fuck are you now? Do you know Slanty? I guess not. So why don't you just up the fuck shut and go back to the "school of purposely misunderstanding". Your teachers must be soooo fuckn proud of you. Hey, you might be good forumite material too. Girl, I see a real future for you in here.

Repetition. Nice words you have, rich language, congrats!

Could you only accept the idea that some of us may feel hurted by Slanty's post ?

Ty for your welcome anyway. Still hesitating to join your small world, or to stay in the background, as do 90% of sailors, bored by insults, ego, politics, fights for power, and now nationalist posts and eulogy of national military forces... Each of us makes his Second Life according to his imagination and culture, some of you have very few.

LOL, after a while in this very forum you too will notice that some things need to be typed repetitiously in order to get them through to the audience. This is not MENSA CLUB ... if you catch my drift.
And sorry my english vocabulary is rather limited, particularly in regards of dirty words. I could hurt and insult ppl much more eloquently in german ... wouldn't even need to utilize the term "Fuck" to make a point.

Could you only accept the idea that some of us may feel hurted by Slanty's post ?

No.

(or to make myself clear here, since I'm in a fair sharing mood today: I (and Slanty too I assume) refuse to sink down to that level of touchy feely stupidity and national pride.)
(with "some of us" you probably mean germans, do ya? Newsflash, I'm carrying a german passport too and I always thought we are a lousy bunch of uptight bourgoise who go down to the basement to laugh. Situation has changed during the last 20-30 years tho. Still some ppl [incl you?] need to be hit over the head with a joke ... and they still don't get it.)

Ty for your welcome anyway.

Huh?
I had to look it up but I welcomed you a few weeks ago ... and already warned you about this forum and the not-so-nice people in it back then.

Still hesitating to join your small world

Talking about this forum I hope, which is not mine. I'm hardly related to it, after I was cut down and shut out by some of the more important but unfortunatelxy also very (please insert all the words for negative character treats you can think of) forum luminaries. Since I lost the earnest political battle I serve only as the local troll. And my world is not small at all, but obviously sooo huge it would scare you.

, or to stay in the background, as do 90% of sailors, bored by insults, ego, politics, fights for power, and now nationalist posts and eulogy of national military forces... Each of us makes his Second Life according to his imagination and culture, some of you have very few.

Exactly! Guess why I'm so bitter?

Enjoy your second life and your forum at your image.

Thankies, I hope I'll enjoy my SL once I'm back home. Better connectivity will allow me more time in world so I don't have to substitute it with this bad forum anymore. But, sorry I have to repeat myself again ... and again ... and again ... THIS IS NOT MY FUCKN FORUM!!! If it was mine I'd killed it (or myself) a long time ago.

Could someone help please?

I am looking for a clear status regarding the SLVT Cup and I am a bit confused. I haven't watched all of the races/events/matches, so now I meet some difficulties to understand it: how went the qualifications events, who's in final... I may find some information here and there, on isail blog, on metaverse blog, in this forum, in some docs provided by Liv, but only pieces or incomplete, so is there a general document or picture summarizing this cup somewhere? (a tree with qualif events? What was the race format in each event? is there a listing somewhere with all results in one doc?).
Maybe I missed something.

Please consider this 'unofficial,' but I think it's accurate based on interview with Don today:

Ten finalists emerged from the Qualifying Trials held over the past several weeks.
( Please thank Naeve for clearly diagramming who-did-what-when above :-) )

The ten qualifying round winners (representing 5 'teams') will sail in Semifinal Round Robins on Aug 7 and Aug 14.
Those two dates allow wide options to the contestants (they have real lives, too).

Two skippers will advance from each Semifinal Round Robin.
Armano Xaris and Takabou Destiny won the first Semifinal Round on Aug 7;
Aug 14 is 6 days away, unless you live in Australia.

On August 28th, there will be a nine-race shoot-out to determine the SL-VT Trophy winner.

Match Races 1-3: The First Place Skipper from Aug 7 (namely, Armano Xaris) will race against the Second Place Skipper from Aug 14 (TBD). The skipper who wins two races will advance.
Match Races 4-6: The First Place Skipper from Aug 14 (TBD) will race against the Second Place Skipper from Aug 7 (namely, Takabou Destiny). The skipper who wins two races will advance.

Match Races 7-9: The winning two skippers from the above rounds will compete against each other in three final races. The first skipper who wins two races will be named Regatta Champion, and win the SLVT Trophy.

Don will fill in the important details for the Final event over the next few days.
